(Senior) Cloud Engineer (f / m / d) Azure Platform

As a Cloud Engineer, you will be responsible for the development and maintenance of our Azure infrastructure, ensuring it remains robust and scalable to meet the demands of our growing operations. In this role, you will provide essential support to internal teams, assisting them in the deployment and operation of various applications, ensuring seamless integration and functionality. Your expertise in Cloud Engineering, coupled with your proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and CI / CD, will be critical in driving our modernization initiative forward. By leveraging your skills and experience, you will play a pivotal role in transforming one of Europe’s leading virtual power plants, contributing significantly to our mission of innovation and efficiency in the energy sector.

Whether full-time or part-time, fully remote or on-site – let us know how we match up. To stay connected as a team, we only ask for three on-site days per quarter.

This is what you like

• You help shape and continuously develop our cloud infrastructure and platform with a strong focus on quality.
• You drive IT projects from concept and evaluation to implementation, operation, and support.
• You automate processes and infrastructure using Terraform or Ansible to ensure scalable, consistent environments.
• You implement and operate CI / CD pipelines to enable smooth and secure deployments.
• You support mission‑critical systems by being part of the 24 / 7 on‑call rotation and responding to alerts in a timely manner.
• You collaborate closely with architects and with your agile, international team to create guidelines, best practices, and shared engineering standards while you mentor and support your colleagues in their professional growth.
