Job Description
Conduct regular audits and inspections of the company's construction and real estate projects to ensure compliance with internal policies, external regulations, and industry standards.
Review Real Estate related processes such as Facility Management, Energy Management, Leasemangement etc. to evaluate its efficiency and effectiveness.
Evaluate risks associated with construction, occupational health & safety (OHS) and real estate activities, check and analyse the relevant Internal Control System and develop appropriate control mechanisms to mitigate risks.
Review construction contracts, lease agreements, building permits and other relevant documents to ensure compliance with company policies and protect the company's interests.
Independently conduct building inspections to identify OHS, construction or functional related risks for the operation of the properties and assess the risk.
Identify opportunities for efficiency improvements and cost savings in the construction and real estate sector through process and procedure analysis.
Collaborate with internal departments such as finance, legal, and construction to ensure a holistic and integrated approach to construction and real estate issues.
Prepare reports and presentations for management to communicate audit findings, risk assessments, and recommendations.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Real Estate- or Facility Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Several years of professional experience in the construction and real estate industry, preferably in auditing, construction- , real estate- or risk management.
Strong knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements in the construction and real estate sector.
Analytical skills and the ability to solve complex problems and make informed decisions.
Excellent communication and presentation skills to articulate complex issues clearly and communicate with various stakeholders.
Proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
Willingness to travel internationally.
