Our CARIDIANS are developing vehicle functions such as driver assistance systems, a next-generation infotainment platform, power electronics and charging technology, and digital services in and around the vehicle.

Our software can already be found in Volkswagen ID. models and will soon power Audi and Porsche vehicles with the E3 1.2 platform in 2024.

YOUR TEAM

Our department is responsible for the development of HMI solutions for ADAS products within the Volkswagen Group. Our focus lies on the development of features and technologies which directly impact how the driver percieves and interacts with the vehicle.

We are working in an agile way through the whole event chain in close coordination with departments from Audi, CARIAD, Porsche and VW to offer the best and most innovative solutions for the customers of our cars.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Implement and sustain software units for ADAS-related components, ensuring high performance and reliability.
• Write and maintain comprehensive unit tests to validate software functionality, ensuring quality and robustness.
• Map requirements from the system and architecture levels down to the code, ensuring full compliance and traceability.
• Define and maintain the software architecture, ensuring scalability, maintainability, and integration with other systems.
• Work within an agile team, contributing to iterative development cycles and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Support the setup and enhancement of software infrastructure, enabling efficient development and deployment processes.
• Assist in establishing and refining test environments, ensuring accurate and efficient validation of software components.

WHO YOU ARE

• Academic background in Computer Science, Information Technology, Robotics, or related field
• Extensive experience in Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) with a strong understanding of ADAS system development processes.
• Exceptional programming skills, particularly in C++ and Python, with hands-on experience in developing real-time software systems and familiarity with ASPICE processes.
• Basic knowledge of HIS / MISRA / Autosar guidelines, with demonstrated ability to write, optimize, and troubleshoot code for Electronic Control Units (ECUs) is highly advantageous.
• Fluency in English is required; proficiency in German is a plus and highly desirable.
