Our client is a leading player in the European crypto-finance sector, providing secure and compliant financial services under European regulations. As part of their expansion, they are looking for a Senior Compliance Officer to strengthen their team in Luxembourg.

Senior Compliance Officer - Your Role :

  • Supervise regulatory compliance by ensuring strict adherence to MICA and DORA standards, thereby guaranteeing operational security and transparency.
  • Play a key role in the second line of defense , providing expertise to anticipate and manage risks associated with crypto and e-payment activities.
  • Act as a Deputy Compliance Officer , temporarily stepping in for the Head of Compliance when necessary, offering you greater responsibilities and career advancement opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the Compliance and Risk teams (5+ people) to structure and enhance internal policies and procedures.
  • Actively participate in audits and regulatory inspections , ensuring a compliant and secure framework for users and investors.

Senior Compliance Officer - Your Profile :

  • 5 to 7 years of experience in compliance , preferably in crypto, fintech, or e-payment.
  • Strong knowledge of European regulations (MICA, DORA, MIFID2 is a plus).
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and demanding environment , where autonomy and precision are crucial.
  • Fluent in English , French is a plus.
