Responsibilities of the Planning Manufacturing Inventory (PMI) position include :

Global Business Process Management : Assist the Business Process Owners to define and standardize global business processes for enterprise order management, pricing management and export order management and enable value realization for the global ERP and associated boundary applications.

Partner with Product Owners, DT resources, Consulting Partners, and key Business Stakeholders.Align key stakeholders on the direction of the global processes and build consensus.

Identify and engage with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) who represent all divisions and lines of business within all regions of the company to ensure representation.

Work with SMEs to gather and document business requirements.Participate in on site discovery sessions. Record use cases for global vs.

regional solutions including statutory and regulatory requirements.Build and document process workflows in enterprise document repository.

Ensure processes align with data definitions and governance requirements. Identify gaps, conflicts, and partner with appropriate Enterprise Data owners to resolve.

Develop methods to monitor, track and report key process indicators and develop appropriate governance policies to ensure process compliance.

Coordinate with cross-functional leadership teams (project and business) on issues / concerns for upcoming process changes.

Engage with partners and owners of related business functions and boundary applications as required.Participate in system integration and user acceptance end-to-end testing and raise concerns to leadership.

Assist with validation and approval of data extracts and loads for testing milestones and go live activities.Participate in on-site project implementation as well as post go live support.

Continuous ImprovementSupport global goals and initiatives via thoughtful process mapping using the enterprise document repository and Celonis process mapping tools, focusing on CI opportunities.

Assist in developing Global Policies and procedures for key business processes to ensure strong internal controls.Implement best practices aimed at reducing waste, improving customer experience, and enabling individual and team productivity.

Stay informed on the latest system updates that will impact existing processes.Champion the use of automation tools and process simplification.

Change ManagementChampion standardization and simplification efforts.Highlight the positive outcomes of program and business changes and how they support the mission and strategy of the company and stakeholders.

Adopt the use of new tools and resources that help support change at enterprise and local level.Support the training of end users on processes. :

Core Competencies include :

  • Ability to think differently and challenge the norm; must be able to see the and understand the overall enterprise business strategy but also maintain focus on business or geographic specific requirements
  • Needs a vision for how the pieces of the end-to-end process come together, where the integration points are, and how performance can be improved over time so that you can make choices on where to play and how to win
  • Strong communicator; able to articulate the value of process standardization and optimization effectively
  • Should be excellent in building relationships across teams, customers, and stakeholders while establishing creditability with business partners
  • Excellent leadership skills in developing people, influencing, customer centricity and change mindset
  • Effective collaborator; able to build and leverage relationships while working across functional groups
  • Broad knowledge of existing ERP functionality, and how it relates to Planning Manufacturing Inventory (PMI)
  • Knowledge of ERP Operating Systems
  • 5-10+ years’ experience of consistently’ meet expectations or higher performance in business lead / technology related roles as documented in this job description including 3+ years supervisory or management experience
  • Have large project and or major system implementation experience.
  • Possess strong working knowledge of Sherwin-Williams’ processes, systems, data, and reporting.
  • Strong business knowledge and functional depth of respective area with continuous improvement experience
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills relaying ideas in both technical and user-friendly language.
  • Exceptional ability to facilitate meetings and follow up with resulting action items.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, multi-cultural environment and to lead and influence cross-organizationally with and without direct authority.
  • Ability to effectively move forward on tasks even with ambiguous or changing requirements.
  • Senior leadership level communication skills with ability to lead, persuade, and motivate to effect organizational change.
  • Exceptional ability and initiative to learn and research new concepts, ideas, and technologies quickly.
  • Exhibit ability to conduct research into applications.
  • Exceptional systems / process orientation with demonstrated analytical thinking, organization skills, and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of project planning and management procedures, practices, and techniques
  • Exhibit superior communication and negotiating skills to effectively review efficient improvements with all levels of key executives, division management and control / budget level managers.
  • Ability to travel 40% of the time

Preferred Qualifications

  • Six Sigma Green Belt & Lean Certification.
  • Master’s Degree in business related field
  • Experience working in Sherwin-Williams Corporate and Business organizations.
  • A leader who can dig into the details and "get your hands dirty solving problems.
  • Lean or six sigma experiences.
  • Leadership and people development experience through direct or indirect supervisory roles
