An SEO Manager is responsible for planning and creating SEO strategies that will help deliver organic performance growth across clients in our portfolio.

This role involves hands-on work across all SEO pillars : technical SEO, content, and supporting offsite efforts in collaboration with the digital PR team.

The SEO Manager takes ownership of their client accounts, delivering against KPIs, and works closely with senior team members for guidance on more complex accounts.

You will be expected to be proactive in personal development, learning from team expertise, and staying updated on industry trends to enhance client outcomes. Collaboration with cross-functional teams, such as content, paid media, and creative, is essential to creating cohesive strategies that align with client goals.

    What you do.

  • Develop and lead SEO strategies for clients, ensuring alignment with their goals.
  • Measure and analyze SEO performance, presenting insights and adapting strategies as needed.
  • Proactively pursue personal growth, upskilling in tools and techniques with team support.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, including algorithm updates, Google product changes, and new tools.
  • Manage workloads, deadlines, and time effectively, delegating tasks where necessary.
  • Support the agency’s ISO27001 delivery and carry out additional duties as assigned by management.
  • Typical day to day activities :

  • Conduct regular website audits to identify and resolve technical SEO issues such as crawl errors, duplicate content, and broken links.
  • Implement on-page SEO best practices, including optimizing meta tags, header tags, schema markup, and structured data to improve search visibility.
  • Optimize website architecture, focusing on URL structure, site navigation, and internal linking strategies to enhance crawlability and indexation.
  • Collaborate with content creators to ensure SEO best practices are integrated, and analyze Google Merchant and product pages to boost organic shopping results.
  • Knowledge and competencies.

  • At least 3 years’ SEO experience. Desirable development and growth of SEO strategy in agency setting.
  • Understand clients' business, brand values, target audience, and market representation digitally.
  • Know clients' objectives, both macro and micro, and implement strategies accordingly.
  • Present ideas clearly and persuasively to internal and external teams, with enthusiasm and rationale.
  • Proficient in tools like Google Search Console, GA4, Ahrefs, Semrush, and Screaming Frog; strong client communication skills.
  • Strong time management, self-starter mentality, and ability to analyze and resolve problems quickly.
  • Understand client commercials, SEO needs, and demonstrate tact and diplomacy in client interactions.
  • Strong skillsets in all the key fundamentals of SEO :

  • Expertise in technical SEO, keyword research, and on-page optimization.
  • Strong understanding of content strategy, backlinks, and AI's impact on Google search.
