Our customer CMBlu started in 2011 as a researchdriven project with the goal of storing electrical energy in any quantity in an environmentally friendly sustainable and costeffective manner. Since then they have continuously expanded our broad IP portfolio and expertise in largescale energy storage.

They are a highly motivated committed and fastgrowing team of over 180 employees now preparing for the market launch of their products and further professionalizing their organization.

Tasks

As Director of Testing and Analytics (m / f / d) you will oversee and shape the testing landscape at CMBlu playing a pivotal role in advancing and commercializing cuttingedge energy storage technologies. You will lead testing operations chemical and electrochemical analytics leveraging your high throughput testing and battery testing expertise while driving the professionalization of these processes in collaboration with your teams.

  • Align team progress and KPIs with business goals ensuring effective communication between technical and nontechnical departments. Drive strategic oversight and leadership excellence across all testing analytics and batteryrelated operations.
  • Lead testing and batteryrelated activities ensuring high standards are met while fostering collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Motivate and guide R&D teams to become more efficient and effective in their testing processes ensuring fast and reliable results.
  • Ensure seamless coordinated and errorfree testing across laboratory and module scales for battery operations.
  • Oversee continuous and accurate analytical operations for chemicals and other battery components.
  • Report findings to leadership and communicate outcomes across relevant interfaces.
  • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements in test laboratory operations.
  • Support and grow team members fostering their technical and professional skills.

Requirements

  • Degree in chemistry mechanical engineering mechatronics or a comparable field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience including management responsibilities.
  • Proven expertise in battery testing and high throughput testing.
  • Skilled in planning executing and evaluating tests with leadership experience in both testing and battery operations.
  • Knowledge of measurement / control technology and data analysis.
  • Fluent in German and English (written and spoken).
  • Strong team player with flexibility and a meticulous approach to work.
  • High commitment and exceptional leadership skills.
