Responsibilities

As an Enterprise & Solutions Architect Consultant, you will be responsible for designing, consulting, and supporting large companies in their digital transformation. You will act as a link between business strategy and technology, developing customized software solutions and architectures. Your expertise will allow you to create innovative solutions that are both technically advanced and economically viable.

• Optimization and Innovation: Conduct optimizations based on diverse requirements, including functional needs, quality attributes (e.g., security, usability), cost-effectiveness, and enterprise-wide IT goals (e.g., Cloud, DevOps, Event Streaming, API Enablement).
• Documentation and Automation: Document architectural views and create software artifacts essential for the deployment process, enabling teams to maximize automation within the delivery pipeline.
• Risk Management: Collaborate with a team of IT architects to define and design software technology solutions while managing risks such as cybersecurity and operational resilience.
• Compliance and Standards: Develop architectural solutions in compliance with technical and commercial guidelines and requirements, ensuring adherence to best practices and standards.
• Project Oversight: Manage the architecture of IT projects, proactively addressing and resolving potential challenges during the preparation, planning, migration, management, monitoring, and implementation of scalable DevOps, infrastructure, Red Hat, SAP, Confluent, and OpenShift or platform projects.
• Enterprise & Solution Architecture: Support the creation of enterprise & solutions architecture roadmaps and blueprints, aligning with the strategic direction of the organization.
• Decision-Making Support: Prepare IT architecture decision proposals and present them to the Architecture Review Board and other client-side decision-makers, facilitating informed and strategic decision-making.
• Continuous Improvement: Promote the continuous improvement of architectural practices, focusing on the reuse of components and proactive promotion of best practices within the organization.
• Client Engagement: Engage with clients to understand their business needs, translating these into technical solutions that drive business value and support digital transformation.
• Technology Advocacy: Stay abreast of the latest technological advancements and industry trends, advocating for their adoption within the organization to maintain a competitive edge.
• Stakeholder Communication: Communicate complex technical concepts clearly and effectively to non-technical stakeholders, ensuring transparency and understanding across the organization.

Qualifications

• Extensive Experience: Proven experience as an IT architect (e.g., Enterprise Architect, IT Solutions Architect) with a strong track record in leveraging technologies to drive technical governance, innovation, integration, and cloud-oriented strategies.
• Architectural Expertise: Deep expertise in designing end-to-end architecture and applications across multiple platforms, ensuring robust, scalable, and secure solutions.
• Agile Collaboration: Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with agile development teams, reviewing and enhancing application architecture, design, and implementation in line with high-quality standards.
• Technical Documentation: Proficiency in creating comprehensive process documentation, technical manuals, and user guides.
• Risk Management: Strong familiarity with the software development process, with the technical acumen to identify risks, propose immediate solutions, and provide expert guidance on complex system solutions.
• API and Microservices: Expertise in designing and implementing REST APIs and microservices architecture.
• Cloud and Infrastructure: Hands-on experience with on-premise/cloud-based infrastructures, SDLC pipelines, deployments/configurations, and defining/disseminating best practices and standards.
• System Integration: In-depth experience with system integration, IT industry standards, architectural principles, and defining service level agreements.
• Component Reusability: Focused on the reuse of components in architectural designs and proactively promoting best practices.
  CI/CD and DevSecOps: Extensive experience in software delivery, including CI/CD and related DevSecOps practices, with a strong background in cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.
• Software Design Principles: Strong principles in software design and development, with an emphasis on system stability, reusability, and performance optimization for a global user base.
• Application Testing: Advanced understanding of application testing, diagnosis, and performance optimization.
• SaaS Integration: Proven experience in selecting and integrating Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solutions.
• Technical Proficiency: Comprehensive knowledge of computer software, hardware, and programming languages.
• Project Management: Familiarity with managing project work within agile international teams, with a proven ability to stay organized and meet deadlines consistently.
• Communication Skills: Exceptional communication skills with the ability to clearly and effectively convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, ensuring alignment and understanding.
• Continuous Learning: Commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with the latest technological advancements and industry trends.
