Purpose of Position

As a Group Accountant in our Accounting, Reporting & Consolidation team you are responsible for the accounting and reporting of Awin Group subsidiaries (local GAAP and IFRS) and conscientiously review the book work. You have deep expertise in conducting the consolidation and the compilation of the group figures.

You excel in the external communication between Awin and its shareholders, foreign tax advisors, auditors and tax authorities. Internally you provide information to directors, other Awin finance departments and the People & Culture department. As an IFRS expert, you are the point of contact for the entire global finance organisation for questions relating to IFRS.

All this happens as being part of a global team of experts and in close cooperation with our Finance Operations, FP&A, Tax & Treasury teams.

Key Responsibilities

Accounting and reporting for various Awin Group subsidiaries (local GAAP’s and IFRS)
Monthly balance sheet reconciliations and analysis
Monthly IFRS reporting to shareholder
Monthly consolidation of group numbers
IFRS competence centre
Annual local GAAP reporting
Local VAT reporting

Skills & Expertise

fluency in English & German

At least 5 years of professional experience in a comparable position

Advanced knowledge in consolidation issues

Extensive practical and theoretical knowledge of accounting according to IFRS as well as local and international taxation issues

Advanced knowledge and proficiency of Microsoft D365, Office Suite, especially Excel and Teams as well as LucaNet reporting and consolidation suite

Very good communication (written and verbal in English)

Analytical and interpersonal skills

Global mindset and team-oriented with the ability to develop international relationships

Conscientiousness and flexibility are not foreign to you, you work goal-oriented and you feel comfortable in an agile work environment
