We are currently looking for a motivated and team-oriented Senior Data Governance and Master Data Management Consultant (m / w / d) .

We are open to candidates located in Frankfurt, Munich, Hannover, Magdeburg, Wolfsburg, Darmstadt, Slovakia and the Czech Republic.

Your responsibilities :

• You are responsible for consulting, developing, implementing, and overseeing Data Governance projects, acting as a trusted advisor
• You will evaluate concerns in governing data, including problem definitions, opportunity and solution recommendations, and root cause analysis
• You will analyze customer's data management processes and embed new governance processes
• You will conceptualize master data management solutions and lead the implementation team
• You will be responsible for internal and external guidelines on data protection and data security
• You will work in close cooperation with our international consultant team

Required Skills, Education, Knowledge and Experience :

• A university degree in (business) computer science, (business) mathematics, statistics, or a comparable course of study
• At least 3 years of working experience in Data Management projects, specifically where Data Governance frameworks were applied
• Strong understanding of data governance principles and best practices
• Proficiency in data quality management and data lineage tracking
• Experience in developing and implementing data governance frameworks and policies
• Oversight of data management goals, standards, practices, processes, and technologies
• Strong knowhow on Purview including Rest APIs
• Strong Informatica MDM knowledge and implementation experience
• Advanced knowledge of SQL
• Excellent communication and presentation skills to coordinate with the different stakeholders
• Ability to give demos on the fly for stakeholders on tools and explain things to non-technical users
• Excellent command of written and spoken English

Nice-to-have :

• Good knowledge of German
• Knowledge of the DSGVO and Collibra
• Experience in consulting and dealing with customers as well as entrepreneurial understanding
