Product Owner (m/w/x)
Your role
- as Technical Product Owner at our Production / MES - Application and implement innovative projects and concepts for our production at ZEISS Vision Care
- an integral part of our intercultural and international team and continuously work on the further development of our forward-looking innovation projects
- As a Technical Product Owner, you will assume the technical & process-related responsibility for our applications used by our factories worldwide
- work with their agile software development team, business partners, and software architects to develop viable solutions
- Understand business requirements, translate them into technical requirements and challenge the status quo to consciously improve our applications
- Define user stories in coordination with the business and prepare them for development
- Develop robust and flexible global application and control the technical product backlog of applications
- Route development projects on the development side
Your profile
- a degree in (business) computer science or another degree program with a focus on information technology
- min. 3 years professional experience as a product owner or as an IT project manager
- Expertise in software programming with Java, Docker, Microservice and hybrid cloud
- Understand and experience in using agile working methods (e.g. SCRUM) and tools (e.g. Azure DevOps, Jira)
- Experiences in modeling IT processes and describing user stories
- Strong communication skills and enjoyment of working in agile, self-organized and dynamic teams
- Experience with hybrid cloud microservice architectures and the specification of complex IT systems as well as work in heterogeneous system landscapes
- a high level of responsibility, good understanding and a high willingness to learn
- Fluent in spoken and written English
