Your role

  • as Technical Product Owner at our Production / MES - Application and implement innovative projects and concepts for our production at ZEISS Vision Care
  • an integral part of our intercultural and international team and continuously work on the further development of our forward-looking innovation projects
  • As a Technical Product Owner, you will assume the technical & process-related responsibility for our applications used by our factories worldwide
  • work with their agile software development team, business partners, and software architects to develop viable solutions
  • Understand business requirements, translate them into technical requirements and challenge the status quo to consciously improve our applications
  • Define user stories in coordination with the business and prepare them for development
  • Develop robust and flexible global application and control the technical product backlog of applications
  • Route development projects on the development side

Your profile

  • a degree in (business) computer science or another degree program with a focus on information technology
  • min. 3 years professional experience as a product owner or as an IT project manager
  • Expertise in software programming with Java, Docker, Microservice and hybrid cloud
  • Understand and experience in using agile working methods (e.g. SCRUM) and tools (e.g. Azure DevOps, Jira)
  • Experiences in modeling IT processes and describing user stories
  • Strong communication skills and enjoyment of working in agile, self-organized and dynamic teams
  • Experience with hybrid cloud microservice architectures and the specification of complex IT systems as well as work in heterogeneous system landscapes
  • a high level of responsibility, good understanding and a high willingness to learn
  • Fluent in spoken and written English
