Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the point of contact for IT networking services for both internal and external projects.
  • Lead the implementation and administration of complex networking projects, ensuring customer requirements are met.
  • Create and maintain detailed technical documentation for projects and service activities.
  • Oversee network security practices to ensure infrastructure integrity and reliability.
  • Manage network infrastructure monitoring and address service requests through the ticket system.

Essential Skills and Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience with network infrastructures (switching, routing, fire walling).
  • Familiarity with Extreme Networks portfolio and Sophos firewalls (pf Sense experience is a plus).
  • Advanced knowledge in Wireless LAN, Network Management and Analysis.
  • Practical experience with QoS, 802.1X standards, dynamic routing protocols, high-availability setups, and Wire shark.
  • Independent, analytical, and structured approach to tasks.
  • High customer and service orientation with excellent communication skills.
  • Fluent German (C1) and proficient English.
