The role

We're on the lookout for a seasoned Senior Kotlin Engineer with expertise in Kotlin and a strong affinity for data handling and architecture, including experience with Kafka. If you're someone who thrives on building innovative solutions and enjoys working at the intersection of software engineering and data science, this opportunity is for you!

Responsibilities :

  • Architect and implement efficient data handling processes
  • Develop and maintain a data platform using Kotlin, Spring Boot, Kafka, and other relevant technologies, including some internal Java libraries
  • Collaborate with data scientists and product management to integrate data analytics into software solutions
  • Mentor team members on best practices in data engineering and software development

What we are looking for

  • Bachelor's or higher degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • Extensive experience in Java or Kotlin necessary
  • Strong focus on software engineering best practices and quality
  • Strong understanding of SQL databases such as PostgreSQL and MySQL
  • Technical Skills : Java and / or Kotlin, Spring Boot, Hibernate, Kafka, SQL databases, RESTful APIs, Docker and Kubernetes (Containers)
