Accounting Manager – Set-Up the Office of a Holding in Luxembourg

A holding based abroad needs you to put in place its office in Luxembourg. Following the concrete growth that the company has known, the managers of the structure are looking to expand their activity with an office based in the country, to take care of a portfolio of entities as well as the daily management of the office.

This structure has several businesses, including one main business and activity in digital entertainment .

With several offices in Europe, the company is now able to open a hub in Luxembourg to add one more employee in addition to the several thousands employees in Europe. The company has positive, friendly and ambitious values that allow everyone to work in a team and to pursue the same objective.

Your Responsibilities | Accountancy – Accounting – Tax – Fiduciary – PFS

  • You take care of the accounting entries .
  • You handle tax returns for a portfolio composed of holding companies. The main part of the entities in the portfolio do not require VAT returns.
  • You establish annual accounts and reporting for the group.
  • You are in contact with your team members abroad and communicate with them daily.
  • You manage board meetings and draft them. Furthermore, you can take minutes and deal with corporate responsibilities. In any case, you stay in touch and in contact with lawyers for more complicated tasks in this field.

Profile and Career Path | Holding – In-house – Corporate – Finance

  • You speak English fluently.
  • You have more than 6 years of experience in accounting, tax, within service providers in Luxembourg.
  • You are hands-on in the work, and you are also able to supervise a team.
  • You have knowledge with the management of commercial companies as well as holding companies.
  • You appreciate working independently , without being in direct contact with colleagues. Indeed, in this company, you will have to work autonomously, and you will be alone at the office at the beginning.
  • You are ambitious and want to grow and recruit people in the Luxembourgish office in the mid-term.

  • Your salary will be up to € 120.000 gross per year , depending on your skills and motivation for this role.

  • Due to a location in the City-Center , the accessibility is easy and convenient by public transport or by car (parking spot at a few minutes by walk of the office).
