Your Team Responsibilities :

Reporting to Nick Mihic and Nicco Ferrarini, Co-Heads of Client Coverage EMEA for MSCI, the role of Head of GAuS, Client Coverage will be responsible for leading MSCI's commercial activities across the GAuS Region.

She / he will bring a strong commercial mindset and possess an outstanding network of C-Level contacts across GAuS Region. A hands-on commercial leader, they will be responsible for leading and developing the team, leading by example in managing client relationships at the highest level and delivering on sales targets. This individual will be the face of MSCI in the GAUS region and a critical member of the EMEA Client Coverage Leadership Team

  • Your Key Responsibilities :

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • As lead for the business, she / he will be instrumental in driving revenue growth across new business and renewal targets as well as representing MSCI at all levels of business in the GAuS region. This will be achieved through a combination of process improvement, talent identification & development, and organizational changes.
  • Work closely with the Head of EMEA Client Coverage, to deliver a cohesive, solutions driven approach with clients both within the GAuS and across the EMEA region.
  • Manage the sales pipeline process to ensure an accurate forecast of results vs. targets.
  • Manage and lead the coverage teams to cross-sell products to drive revenues across new and existing clients and increase overall client satisfaction.
  • Support and accompany the Senior Account Managers / Country Managers in EMEA on key global accounts.
  • Work closely with the global product teams to implement strategies to secure new business and achieve renewal targets.
  • Present at Town Halls, Coverage Sessions and other meetings as required.
  • Extensive travel required within the scope of the GAuS region
  • Your skills and experience that will help you excel :

    IDEAL EXPERIENCE

    Commercial Business Leader

    10+ years' experience in a sales environment within financial institutions, financial services systems vendor or information provider with a strong track record of building highly effective sales organisations, including achieving sustained high revenue growth and profitability.

    Strong Business Network

    Has a strong network of C-Level contacts in GAuS region, and a track record of turning these relationships into commercially productive results.

    Team Leadership

    Brings an exceptional track record of managing, building, developing and growing sales and client coverage teams and developing and executing sales strategies.

    Sound Technical Knowledge

    Has an in-depth understanding of the global investment process. Ideally with multi-asset class experience and an understanding of complex derivative products and portfolio analytical tools

    Appropriate Tertiary Qualifications in Business or Finance

    Ideally at Masters, MBA or other relevant postgraduate qualification such as a CFA.
