Winch Operator

Short description

Are you an experienced Winch Operator with expertise in offshore environments? Do you possess the technical skills and safety knowledge required for precise load handling on platforms, rigs, or vessels? If so, we want to hear from you!

Function description

At iPS Powerful People, we are always on the lookout for talented professionals to join our pool for future offshore projects. While we do not have a specific job opening at the moment, we are proactively building a pool of qualified candidates who are ready to mobilize quickly for upcoming opportunities.

Responsibilities :

• Control the winch to lift, lower and position loads such as equipment or materials.
• Ensure precise and safe movement of loads during operations.
• Regularly inspect winches, cables, and related equipment for wear and tear or defects.
• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries.
• Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to supervisors.
• Ensure that loads are securely attached to the winch before lifting.
