Job Content
- Defining optimal supplier portfolio for 3 years, considering terms, short vs. long-term balance, and tender vs. forecast utilisation.
- You will establish frame contracts to enable future supplier portfolio and drive strategic processes with suppliers in cooperation with business units’ sourcing management.
- Maintaining comprehensive global and local supplier overview, assessing production facilities, market positions, and strategies.
- You understand cost driver insight for timber producers, you’ll analyze supplier performance and monitor market development.
- You will obtain and share information of the full timber market in Europe, to make informed sourcing decisions.
- Coordination of product development and cost reduction projects with European suppliers and business units’ stakeholders.
- Manage organizational supplier overview and engage with decision-level European counterparts.
- Establish good, local business units’ suppliers into other business units, to increase competition and secure volume options.
- Establishing of a structured meeting framework with key suppliers / partners, fostering strong relationships and effective communication.
- You are going to develop and maintain partnerships with suppliers in the European Supplier Program (ESP).
- You will drive competitiveness and profitability through optimized sourcing, cost reduction and supplier performance enhancement.
- Balance volumes between suppliers in – and between all markets to secure the most competitive prices and secure availability for all business units.
