AIT Ingenieur (m / f / d)

Your Tasks

  • Overall AIT ETC technical responsibility and go-to personfor a project across disciplines and thus close collaboration and support ofrespective ETC manager
  • Technical coordination of an assigned AIT ETC project team
  • Ensure implementation and compliance of OHB’s AIT processes
  • In early phase : define AIT flow, GSE and facility concept
  • Standardize and update AIT documentation, AIT Plan,Facility Plan, GSE Deployment Plan / Specs, AIT Risk register, Procedures, etc.
  • Ensure GSE suitability and I&T definition acrossdisciplines
  • Control the technical coherency and consistency ofdocuments, GSE and I&T setups and approaches
  • Define and maintain I / F to Engineering, Verification, PA
  • Support the preparation of and participation at testreviews (IRR / TRR, PTR) in coordination with AIT Manager
  • Organize results data review and drive respective approvals
  • Organize and maintain AIT data storage for respectiveproject
  • Define and manage AIT tools usage for assigned project
  • Support AIT ETC manager with his / her planning activities
  • Training, guidance and mentoring of employees
  • Information exchange and networking within team, possiblywith other departments / units and external partners
  • Knowledge management : knowledge generation, documentationand transfer
  • Develop own expertise and leadership skills

Your Qualifications

  • Aerospace / Electrical Engineer degree (or similar) withexperience in working for Space Business or related matters
  • Five years of experience in Space Business are considered a necessary backgroundfor this role
  • Knowledge of the satellite system aspects with technologicalitems. Specific knowledge on satellite system thermal testing (thermal balanceand thermal cycling) is required
  • Profound knowledge of physics, electrical andfunctional principles of a Satellite System
  • Good relationship capabilities, either internal to theother OHB Team Members, either external, in relationship to the Customer
  • Understanding of issues, identify root causes, definesolution
  • Flexibility in work organization : work in shift, work inweekend or holidays, if needed
  • Working under quality control rules
  • Flexibility to travel
