YOUR ROLE AS GENERAL MANAGER

As General Manager you are the face heartbeat and driving force of the hotel. You lead the team with a hands-on spirit ensure smooth operations and build strong relationships with guests partners and the local community especially with Outletcity Metzingen. Your mission : create unforgettable experiences and lead the hotel to commercial and cultural success.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

Lead all hotel operations with a visible hands-on leadership style.

Drive guest satisfaction and ensure every stay is seamless personal and fun.

Manage all departments (Front Office Housekeeping F&B Maintenance) with operational excellence.

Build strong partnerships with Outletcity Metzingen and local businesses to boost visibility and revenue.

Ensure financial performance and consistently exceed commercial targets.

Coach mentor and develop your team to create a strong motivated high-energy Crew.

Oversee budgeting forecasting cost control and revenue strategy.

Ensure Marriott brand standards and operational procedures are followed at all times.

Lead innovation projects and implement new ideas to elevate guest experience.

Represent the hotel in the community and act as a local ambassador for the Moxy brand.

Drive a positive workplace culture where personality creativity and teamwork thrive.

Job requirements

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Proven experience as General Manager in a mid-scale hotel (Marriott experience is a plus).

Strong financial and commercial acumen; ability to drive top-line and GOP results.

Hands-on leader with excellent operational knowledge across all departments.

Strategic mindset with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement.

Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.

Strong understanding of lifestyle hotel operations and the Moxy / Lifestyle segment.

Strong relationship-building ability particularly with local partners like Outletcity Metzingen .

Team-oriented motivational leadership style.

C1 level in both English and German.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced guest-focused environment.
