Hauptaufgaben

Performs duties within the stock control and accounting elements and is responsible for processing documentation for ammunition requisitions, issues, turn-ins, movements, intra-depot -transfers inventories, shipments and other storage actions. Ensure that all ammunition documentation is input into the Total Ammunition Management System (TAMIS) is current and accurate. Furthermore performs a variety of supply and services support functions within the Miesau Ammunition Area, which supports troops with ammunition, explosives and related components, required for the accomplishment of live fire gunneries and field exercises (large scale training activities) and out of sector training shipments and returns.

Plans work schedules and sequence of operations for assigned 'checker' personnel, in coordination with customer units, and quality assurance personnel. Coordinates the activities of assigned area with other site elements, to ensure maximum use of labor, equipment and to adhere to established safety and security requirements. Ensure an even flow and distribution of work, explains work requirements and details, ensures the expeditious handling of priority customer issue and turn-in appointments, and the meeting of schedules and deadlines. Revises work schedules to meet changes in workload priorities, considering such factors as peak loads, availability of work force and processing time requirements, and assures accomplishment of assigned workload. Explains work requirements, methods, and procedures, and gives special instructions on difficult and unprecedented operations. Verifies all training requests within TAMIS and accepts forecasted / unforecasted items for issuance. Incumbent must have English level 2 certification.

Performs functions in the operations of the Stock Control Section, within the framework of established ammunition supply policies, regulations, procedures, and internal SOP's and within the range of authority delegated by supervisor and military key personnel. Advises customer units on the intent, coverage, and content of instructions guide's precedents and regulations; pertaining to special requirements for ammunition handling and transportation. Maintains sole responsibility for the acceptance and control of signature cards (DA Form 1687) for more than 200 customers. Ensures that the customer units be provided with a secure place to park loaded vehicles overnight. Prepares activity reports, indicating man-hours used, work accomplishment, personnel status and related production data.

Incumbent of position serves as the Key Control Custodian within the Miesau Ammunition Area. Issues and retrieves keys from ammunition depot's locker at the start and end of each day. Maintains and secures the key control logs, magazine data card file, after completion. Assists in visual inspection of the key inventory and lock maintenance for the Miesau Ammunition Area. Reports to the installation's physical security officer any broken or missing keys and reports all discrepancies. Responsible for issuing ball seals and cable seals. Incumbent documents in a log book all seals issued. Requires knowledge of regulations, policies, practices, and methods used for key, seal, and lock to include Physical security and visitor control. The knowledge is applied too carry out assignments with supervisory involvement on unusual circumstances. Knowledge of administrative and management functions, filling classifications and record keeping requirements concerning key and seal control is a job requirement.

Experience A : Included clerical work in an office or store, working with computers, bookkeeping, making and recording inventories, telephone marketing, arranging for events or as a cashier, etc. /

Erfahrung A : Allgemeine Buerotätigkeit z. B. Computeranwendung, Buchführung, Inventuren, Telefon- oder Organisationsarbeit oder Kassierertätigkeit.

  • Kenntnisse im Umgang mit Büroanwenderprogrammen sind erforderlich. / Office automation skills are required.
  • Führerschein Klasse B wünschenswert. / German driver's license class B desired.

LANGUAGE PROFICIENCY LEVEL / SPRACHKENNTNISSE :

Englischlevel B1 UND Deutschlevel C1 erforderlich.

Es handelt sich um eine befristete Vollzeitstelle (38.5 Std. / Woche) bis zur Rueckkehr des permanenten Stelleninhabers, nicht länger als 03. Oktober 2026. / This is a temp full-time position 38.5 hrs. / week, until return of permanent incumbents NTE 03. October 2026.
