We are seeking a Risk Controller to strengthen our team and contribute to the strategic, procedural, and regulatory aspects of risk management. If you are passionate about assessing, and managing risk, we invite you to join my client in a dynamic team.

Your Responsibilities :

As a Risk Controller, you will play a vital role in maintaining and advancing our risk management framework. Your key tasks will include :

  • Managing Risks :

Identifying and managing credit default risks, operational risks, and ESG risks.

  • Risk Measurement & Monitoring :

    • Measuring, assessing, and monitoring the risk types to ensure robust risk mitigation strategies.

  • Reporting :

    • Supporting MaRisk (Minimum Requirements for Risk Management) reporting.

    Preparing periodic risk reports and ad hoc analyses to inform decision-making at all levels.

  • Process & Model Improvement :

    • Enhancing risk controlling processes and developing advanced risk models to address evolving business needs.

  • Risk Inventory :

    • Contributing to the annual risk inventory process, ensuring comprehensive risk identification and assessment.

  • Regulatory Compliance :

    • Analyzing and implementing regulatory requirements to ensure full compliance with relevant standards and guidelines.

    Your Profile :

    To excel in this role, you should bring :

  • A degree in finance, economics, business administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in risk management, risk controlling, or a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of credit, operational, and ESG risk assessment.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements, including MaRisk and other relevant frameworks.
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills in German and English
