Tasks
- You spearhead the management and coordination of global confined space robotized NDT inspections, with a primary focus for Europe
- You are responsible for developing and driving a centralized operational lead coordination system for robotized inspections, tailored for confined spaces
- In addition, you create a centralized tender support structure
- Preparing comprehensive technical and commercial tenders for robotized NDT inspections in close alignment with a global and local sales structure will also be part of your tasks
- Furthermore, you manage both planned and emergency inspection activities, ensuring minimal customer downtime and optimal service delivery
- You lead cross-functional teams to deliver tailor-made robotized NDT solutions that align with customer specifications and budget constraints
- You are responsible for innovating and integrating new robotic inspection solutions in collaboration with R&D teams, driving the evolution of service offerings
- You streamline processes, resolve technical challenges, and enact improvements for greater operational efficiency
- Moreover, you conduct regular meetings with international NDT departments to uphold compliance with rigorous safety, environmental, and regulatory standards
- Furthermore, you oversee a dedicated team of NDT professionals, cultivating a safety-first culture geared towards innovation and continuous enhancement.
- Last but not least, you administer budgets for the centralized procurement or in-house development of robotic solutions, with an emphasis on regional equipment utilization
Qualifications
Bachelor's or master's degree in mechanical engineering, Robotics or a related fieldProfessional experience in robotic NDT inspectionsStrong analytical acumen to evaluate market solutions and develop cutting-edge technical strategies for superior customer satisfactionExcellent communication proficiency to represent DEKRA effectively to both internal teams and external stakeholdersProficient in international contracting, familiar with accreditation requirements, and well-versed in safety regulations for robotic NDT inspectionsExtensive operational experience in selecting NDT inspectors, managing subcontractors, and handling logistics for highly regulated industrial sitesFinancial savvy to oversee project financials, negotiate with stakeholders, and assess budgetary impacts on project deliverablesInterpersonal expertise to lead, inspire, and collaborate with a diverse group of engineers and technical specialists, fostering teamwork and resolving any project-related conflictsProven management skills to assemble and direct multi-disciplinary teams, establishing a central yet internationally operational unit with a focus on confined space inspections and potential expansion to other robotic NDT servicesWas wir bieten
