Senior Data Engineer

New permanent opportunity for a Senior Data Engineer.

Please note : This position can either be worked in the Köln Head Office or remotely in Germany

Senior Data Engineer Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain data platforms to ensure a reliable data platform within a Microsoft ecosystem
• Orchestration, security, and adoption
• Create efficient data pipelines (Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, and / or Microsoft Fabric)
• Create powerful data models using Python, SQL, PySpark, or SparkSQL (from dimensional modelling to second and third normal forms)
• Manage customer environments with Azure DevOps and will be responsible for the deployment scripts and pipelines

This is a permanent requirement with a start date ASAP; CVs are currently being considered and interviews are taking place across November. The interview process will be 2 stages and candidates will need to be available in no more than 3 months in order to be considered.
