We are hiring a Product Manager to join our team in Munich. This person will own and handle a portfolio of products, including new product development projects and life cycle management of existing solutions.
Please note that this is a 1 year temporary position.
What You Will Be Doing :
Think strategically & Business oriented :
- Analyzes market, sales, financial and other data to support planning and creating recommendations to achieve objectives.
- Identify market trends and user insights to create marketing brief and scope of new product development projects. Being able to build a complete business case to support the new initiatives.
- Being the Marketing lead in New Product Development cross-functional teams, in close collaboration with Design, Product Engineers, Project Management, Operations, and other related functions.
- Sought out by sales organization and other internal & external audiences for expertise and product knowledge.
- Help us transition our orientation to include more intentional focus on customer segmentation strategies, and marketing actions designed to drive growth in these areas
Product Management - Managing the Product Lines 4 Ps :
- Develop long- and short-term product line strategies and plans to achieve sales and profitability targets.
- Prepares volume forecasts for assigned product lines.
- Driving a solution set across development teams (primarily Design / Development / Engineering, Operation and Marketing Application & Launch) through market requirements, product contract, and positioning.
- Prepares specific Marketing programs and coordinates implementation to develop optimum distribution policies for the product line.
Product Launch, influence & communicate :
- Works closely with Market Launch, Marketing Communications, Product Consultants, and Industrial Design to develop and implement a company-wide go-to market plan such as promotional programs & tools that support product line plans.
- Works closely with Applications group to integrate products in relevant applications.
- Conduct training for Field Sales & other audiences in conjunction with Product Consultants.
Transversal Management. Global proficiency
- Work in a global environment with close collaboration with Marketing counterparts and project teams, some of them located in Americas and Asia.
- Interfaces closely with other fields (i.e., sales, manufacturing, engineering) to implement product line plans. Works with outside suppliers & consultants as required.
