Ihre aufgaben

Assisting in origination of investment banking and in particular M&A transactions in the German M&A Team :

• Involved in industry and company research, quantitative analysis, company valuation analysis (using a variety of techniques), financial modelling and financing capacity of buyers
• Involved in the preparation of presentations for clients and potential investors
• Keep up to date about M&A, as well as equity and debt related issues

Strong involvement in day-to-day project executions, including leadership of specific project tasks and work streams :

• Support preparation of marketing materials / analysis of marketing materials
• Assist in developing transaction structures and in process management
• Valuation and financial modelling and carrying out of due diligence

Ihr profil

Experience and Technical Skills :

• Very good Bachelor or Master’s degree in Finance or Business Administration
• Relevant work experience in investment banking / corporate finance with a focus on M&A origination and execution
• Advanced analytical and financial modelling skills
• Very strong technical / analytical skills
• Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office : Excel, Power Point and Word
• Ideally good command of Bloomberg / CapitalIQ / Datastream / ThomsonReuters
• Fluent in German and English, basic understanding of French is a plus but not required

Ihr umfeld

As an experienced Corporate Finance Analyst you will work in the German M&A team directly with senior bankers in country, industry and coverage teams on the origination and execution of investment banking mandates and in particular M&A projects.

This includes a wide variety of tasks, such as financial statement analysis, financial modeling, company and industry research, preparation of client presentations, deal documentations, etc.

The German M&A-Team advises major clients on their strategic analysis and execution of M&A transactions, taking into account the relevant legal structures and potential capital market consequences.
