Tasks
As a Sales Development Representative at VineForecast, you will :
- Reach out to pre-qualified leads to present and demonstrate software products, addressing questions and concerns independently.
- Advice and sale agricultural software to farms, cooperatives and consultancies.
- Generate new leads proactively through inbound activities and outbound outreach via Phone or E-Mail.
- Build and maintain robust relationships with specialty crop farmers, particularly winemakers, as well as enterprise partners.
- Maintain accurate records of all sales activities and customer interactions in our CRM.
- Ensure a smooth transition from sales to customer success.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience in sales, preferably within the software and / or agriculture sectors.
- You have experience in a call center environment and are familiar with the special challenges and opportunities of these structures.
- Exceptional communication and presentation abilities, with a talent for conveying complex concepts in a persuasive manner.
- Self-motivated and goal-driven, capable of excelling in a dynamic startup environment.
- Willingness to travel and collaborate closely with specialty crop farmers, winemakers, and dealers.
- You speak and write German at a C2 level and are fluent in English (additional proficiency in French, Spanish, or Italian is a strong advantage.)
- High level of ambition and a commitment to continuous learning.
- In-depth understanding of plant protection in agriculture is a BIG plus.
