VineForecast is seeking a motivated Sales Representative to join our mission-driven team. We empower specialty crop farmers starting with winemakers to reduce pesticide use and manage fungal disease and weather risks through our advanced AI-driven decision support system.

Tasks

As a Sales Development Representative at VineForecast, you will :

  • Reach out to pre-qualified leads to present and demonstrate software products, addressing questions and concerns independently.
  • Advice and sale agricultural software to farms, cooperatives and consultancies.
  • Generate new leads proactively through inbound activities and outbound outreach via Phone or E-Mail.
  • Build and maintain robust relationships with specialty crop farmers, particularly winemakers, as well as enterprise partners.
  • Maintain accurate records of all sales activities and customer interactions in our CRM.
  • Ensure a smooth transition from sales to customer success.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience in sales, preferably within the software and / or agriculture sectors.
  • You have experience in a call center environment and are familiar with the special challenges and opportunities of these structures.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation abilities, with a talent for conveying complex concepts in a persuasive manner.
  • Self-motivated and goal-driven, capable of excelling in a dynamic startup environment.
  • Willingness to travel and collaborate closely with specialty crop farmers, winemakers, and dealers.
  • You speak and write German at a C2 level and are fluent in English (additional proficiency in French, Spanish, or Italian is a strong advantage.)
  • High level of ambition and a commitment to continuous learning.
  • In-depth understanding of plant protection in agriculture is a BIG plus.
