As part of a succession plan, we are looking for a talented chemical sales engineer to join the Germany based business unit for technical surfactants

The tasks

  • Establish strong relationships with key account customers and secure continuous business
  • Expand existing client base to further countries
  • Explore and win new business in growing markets such as Asia / US
  • Close internal cooperation . with product management, R&D, production, quality and customer service
  • Managing the entire sales-cycle from testing to contract negotiations with different customer contacts

Your profile

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in chemical engineering, commercial engineering or similar
  • Several years of experience in sales | business development | key account management within the Chemicals industry (OEM or supplier)
  • Know-how in the field of water miscible industrial (metalworking) fluids would be a “nice to have”, but is not a must
  • A curious, proactive salesperson  who combines a hunter mentality with stamina and patience and who loves to travel
  • Based in BeNeLux or Germany to be close to customers and colleagues
  • Business fluent in spoken and written German (B2) and English
