Specialist RF Engineer

We are partnering with a leading space technology company based in Germany. Our client a global player in the aerospace industry is seeking a talented Specialist in RF technology to join their innovative team. With a focus on navigation and telecom payload youll play a crucial role in shaping the future of space technology.

Your Role :

As a Specialist in RF your primary mission will be to lead the design development and implementation of the RF section of the Navigation / Telecom payload. Youll be at the forefront of groundbreaking projects contributing to the success of space missions and satellite communication.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Model and assess critical parameters such as EIRP outofband emissions noise figure inband spurii and clock frequency stability.
  • Conduct architecture tradeoffs for the RF section including antenna and amplifier components.
  • Coordinate requirements flowdown and contribute to the specification writing for subsystems and units.
  • Review and assess supplier proposals to ensure alignment with project goals.
  • Define verification and test approaches to ensure the highest standards of performance.
  • Contribute to the internal training knowledge and tools database.
  • Support test campaigns by analyzing measured payload performance and addressing anomalies / nonconformances.
  • Travel regularly to supplier and customer sites providing technical support and participating in testing and technical meetings.

Your Qualifications :

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical / Electronic Engineering Telecommunications Signal Processing or a comparable discipline.
  • Professional experience as a Systems Engineer demonstrating expertise in RF systems.
  • Handson experience in the design analysis implementation and measurement of RF systems preferably with MIMO / beamforming systems.
  • Proven ability to work independently with a selfmanaged and proactive working style.
  • Working level proficiency in written and spoken English; knowledge of German is advantageous.
  • Experience in using Matlab for system analysis and design.
