Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Strategic Planning : Formulate and refine a robust global demand and supply strategy for sophisticated and groundbreaking technologies.

Partner with the Product Marketing team to harmonize demand projections with supply capacities, guaranteeing that sales objectives are attainable and met.

Operational Management : Supervise daily interactions with external manufacturing partners, driving their performance to meet delivery commitments.

Develop both immediate and long-term supply schedules, effectively communicating plans to essential stakeholders. Manage the supply chain processes for new product launches and handle surplus or end-of-life inventory in collaboration with Sales, Marketing, and Research & Development teams.

Inventory Oversight : Administer the complete lifecycle of material management to maintain product availability across key storage sites, aligned with forecasts, existing orders, and allocation plans.

Generate and disseminate regular inventory reports, promptly identifying and addressing potential short-term stock challenges.

Logistics Optimization : Enhance logistical operations for our international clientele by improving forecast precision, managing inventory levels, reducing throughput times, and facilitating new product introductions.

Diagnose the underlying causes of forecast discrepancies and develop strategies to manage excess inventory when necessary.

Adaptive Support : Exhibit a proactive attitude by embracing additional responsibilities that align with the role’s objectives, thereby supporting the team’s overall performance and success.

Required Qualifications and Competencies

• Educational Background : Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related discipline.
• Professional Experience : Minimum of three years in supply chain roles, focusing on demand and supply coordination, materials management, and the implementation of Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) processes.
• Industry Expertise : Proven experience in managing demand and supply within the automotive sector, utilizing automotive customer portals effectively.
• Technical Proficiency : Strong understanding of Material Requirements Planning (MRP) systems and familiarity with platforms such as SAP R3 / 4Hana Cloud.

Experience with Automotive Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) messaging is advantageous.

• Continuous Improvement : Demonstrates a commitment to ongoing development and a keen interest in exploring innovative solutions.
• Analytical and Organizational Skills : Exceptional analytical abilities, coupled with a high level of accountability and a methodical approach to tasks.

Capable of strategic and tactical thinking with strong interpersonal skills.

• Communication Excellence : Superior communication capabilities, enabling effective collaboration with customers and internal teams at all organizational levels.
• Leadership Qualities : Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire, influence, and collaborate within a team-oriented environment.
• Language Proficiency : Fluent in both German and English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills in both languages.
