Chief Scientist / Technical Director

An innovative Chief Scientist / Technical Directoris urgently sought by this leading developer of state-of-the-artimaging (SWIR / LWIR), image intensifier tubes, cores and CMOSimage sensors. Working from their R+D Centre based near Frankfurtam Main, the Chief Scientist / Technical Director will beresponsible for technically overseeing the day-to-day developmentof these market leading products coupled with leading the researchinto the next generation of this leading-edge imaging technology.The Chief Scientist / Technical Director will be working across thecomplete technical spectrum of design and development workingclosely with the electronics, mechanical, manufacturing andsoftware teams based in several worldwidelocations.

Having completed your PhD (or equiv.),you will be currently working as a Senior Research / Research andDevelopment Engineer looking into emerging and innovative nextgeneration electronic product / semiconductor / advanced imagingtechnology. You will be used to working in ‘clean room’ electronicproduct development environments and have a track record ofcomplete product development responsibility. An in-depth knowledgeof infrared sensors, image intensifiers and / or camera imaging(SWIR / LWIR) would be a benefit as would a background in managingcomplete electronic product developmentprojects.
