Description :

The Magento CMS UI Developer will be responsible for designing and implementing features for a Magento-based e-commerce platform. This is a full-time on-site role in Bengaluru, India.

Responsibilities :

  • Design and Implement Features : You will be responsible for designing and implementing features for a Magento-based e-commerce platform. This includes creating user interfaces, optimizing performance, and ensuring a seamless shopping experience.
  • Customization and Development : Proficiency in designing, customizing, and developing Magento themes and extensions. You’ll work on enhancing the visual aspects of the platform, ensuring it aligns with the brand’s identity and user experience.
  • eCommerce Lifecycle Development : Experience with the complete e-commerce lifecycle, from product listing to checkout. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to build and enhance the online shopping experience.
  • Responsive Design and Mobile-First Approach : Ensure that the platform is responsive across different devices and follows a mobile-first approach. Users should have a consistent experience whether they access the site from a desktop or a smartphone.
  • Clean and Well-Documented Code : Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code. Thoroughly test and debug your implementations to ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Magento Module Development : Develop custom Magento modules and templates using best practices. Troubleshoot and fix system integration or data-related issues.
  • JavaScript Libraries : Have a good understanding of JavaScript libraries such as jQuery, Knockout.js, and others. These libraries play a crucial role in enhancing the user interface and interactivity.
  • Configuration and Maintenance : Configure and maintain Magento 2.x sites and modules. Keep the platform up-to-date, secure, and optimized.

Qualification :

  • Strong experience with Magento 2.x, PHP, HTML / CSS, and MySQL
  • Proficient in designing, customizing, and developing Magento themes and extensions
  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite, understanding of modern UI / UX trends and design principles
  • Experience with complete eCommerce lifecycle development.
  • Experience with responsive design and mobile-first approach development
  • Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code, and thorough testing / debugging skills
  • Developing custom Magento modules, and templates in PHP using best practices, troubleshooting and fixing system integration / data issues
  • Good understanding of Javascript libraries such as Jquery, Knockoutjs, and others
  • Configure & Maintenance Magento 2.x sites & modules.
  • Must have the ability to develop Magento modules & and customization, extension development
  • Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Computer Science, or a related field is preferred
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
