This role is part of our Commercial HVAC (CHVAC) EMEA business unit. CHVAC EMEA is a leading provider of innovative heating, ventilation, and air conditioning solutions in the European, Middle Eastern, and African regions.

We are looking for an SAP Consultant to join our team. In this role you will provide functional support in the modules for Finance and Controlling (SAP FI / CO) across the AL-KO business in EMEA using the ECC6.0 EHP8 SAP-ERP system. You will be an integral member of the SAP team working with EMEA locations to support Trane Technologies' SAP Eco-System. You should have several years of ERP experience, particularly with SAP Business Suite.

The office location is Burgau in Germany.

What will your responsibilities be?

  • Analysis, optimisation and further development of SAP FI business processes in cooperation with the specialist departments

Holistic support of the SAP FI module incl. customizing

  • Responsibility for the interfaces to neighbouring SAP modules and software system

    • Training of SAP users in the specialist departments and creation of SAP documentation and process flows

  • Processing of change requests and incidents (2nd / 3rd level support)

    • Creation of programming requirements for the development team

  • Active member in upcoming SAP projects especially the upcoming S / 4 HANA project.

    • What are the requirements for the role?

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, IT or completed training with comparable qualifications
  • Extensive knowledge of the SAP FI module
  • Business management understanding of the underlying operational processes

    • What would be ideal?

    Experience in another SAP module (e.g. CO, BI, ABAP)

  • Experience with S / 4 HANA
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills including a structured and analytical way of working
  • Good written and spoken German and English
