Als Teil eines der international besetzten, agilen Teams der Private Bank Data Plattform gehören Sie zu der Abteilung "TDI PB Germany Enterprise & Data".

Der Hauptfokus liegt hier auf der Entwicklung und Bereitstellung von unterschiedlichen Lösungen im Umfeld von Datawarehousing, Reporting und Analytics für die Privatbank in Deutschland, um damit dafür zu sorgen, dass notwendige Daten für operative und analytische Zwecke bereitgestellt werden.

Die PB Data Plattform ist die neue, strategische Daten Plattform der Private Bank und nutzt die Google Cloud Plattform als Basis.

Mit Google als engem Partner folgen wir hierbei der Cloud Strategie der Deutschen Bank, mit dem Ziel, einen signifikanten Anteil der heutigen on-prem Applikationen in die Google Cloud Plattform zu übertragen bzw. dort neu zu bauen.

Ihre Aufgaben :

Schnelle und zuverlässige Lösungen für Data Warehousing und Business Intelligence gemeinsam mit ihrem Team entwickeln und betreiben.

Dazu gehört vor allem die Implementierung von Anbindungen verschiedener Datenquellen, um Daten per Batch oder Near- / Realtime in die Datenplattform zu laden sowie die Modellierung und Transformation von Daten zur Nutzung für unterschiedliche Anwendungszwecke

• Sie sind Teil eines DevOps Teams und werden neben Entwicklertätigkeiten auch mit IaaS und dem Betrieb der Platform zu tun haben und die Infrastrukturkomponenten der Platform auf der GCP mit betreuen
• Sie sind gemeinsam mit Ihrem agilen Team End-2-End für die Anwendung verantwortlich und entwickeln diese entsprechend den Bedürfnissen der Anwender weiter
• Als aktiver Teil des agilen Entwicklungsteams, führen Sie maßgeblich den Entwurf und die Implementierung von Data Pipelines und unterstützen den Product Owner auch bei der Konzeption der Daten Plattform
• In der wachsenden Abteilung fungieren Sie als Vorbild für den Nachwuchs, führen Code-Reviews durch und helfen, ein attraktives Umfeld für das Team zu schaffen

Ihr Profil :

• Studium der Informationstechnologie, Mathematik, Technik, BWL oder Vergleichbares sowie nennenswerte berufliche Erfahrung
• Praktisches Wissen über Datenmodellierung und Datenbanksysteme, darunter relationale Datenbanken, gerne auch Document und Key Value Stores
• Erfahrung in der Extraktion, Transformation und dem Laden von Daten (ETL), Data Warehouses mit Ansätzen wie Data Vault 2.0
• Breite Kenntnisse in Datenverarbeitung via SQL, sowie langjährige Erfahrung im Umgang mit Data Pipeline Tools (Apache Beam, Apache Airflow, etc.)
• Mehr als 5 Jahre praktische Erfahrung in der Entwicklung von Anwendungen mittels Java und / oder Python
• Erfahrung im Umfeld von Cloud Anwendungen (Erfahrung mit Projekten in der Google Cloud Plattform wünschenswert (DataFlow, Composer, BigQuery, PubSub))
• Kenntnisse mit IaaS mittels Terraform sowie CI / CD mittels Github Actions oder anderer Deployment Verfahren
• Kenntnisse mit Standard Tools wie Maven oder Git, sowie Shell Scripte
• Gute Kommunikationsfähigkeiten in Deutsch und Englisch

As part of one of the internationally staffed, agile teams of the Private Bank Data Platform, you will be part of the "TDI PB Germany Enterprise & Data" department.

The main focus here is on the development and delivery of different solutions in the area of data warehousing, reporting and analytics for the Private Bank in Germany to ensure that necessary data is provided for operational and analytical purposes.

The PB Data Platform is the new, strategic data platform of the Private Bank and uses the Google Cloud Platform as a basis.

With Google as a close partner, we are following Deutsche Bank's cloud strategy with the aim of transferring a significant proportion of today's on-prem applications to the Google cloud platform or building new ones there.

Your tasks :

Develop and operate fast and reliable solutions for data warehousing and business intelligence together with your team.

This includes mainly the implementation of connections of different data sources to load data via batch or near / realtime into the data platform as well as the modeling and transformation of data to use it for different application purposes

• You will be part of a DevOps team and, in addition to developer activities, you will also be involved with IaaS and platform operations and will help maintain the infrastructure components of the platform on the GCP
• You will be responsible for the application end-2-end together with your agile team and develop it according to the needs of the users
• As an active part of the agile development team, you will be instrumental in leading the design and implementation of data pipelines and also support the product owner in the design of the data platform
• In the growing department, you will act as a role model for junior staff, conduct code reviews and help create an attractive environment for the team

Your Profile :

• University degree in information technology, mathematics, engineering, business management or similar and significant professional experience.
• Hands-on knowledge of data modeling and database systems, including relational databases, preferably including Document and Key Value Stores.
• Experience in data extraction, transformation and loading (ETL), data warehouses with approaches like Data Vault 2.0
• Broad knowledge of data processing via SQL, as well as many years of experience in using data pipeline tools (Apache Beam, Apache Airflow, etc.)
• More than 5 years of practical experience in developing applications using Java and / or Python
• Experience in the environment of cloud applications (experience with projects in the Google Cloud Platform desirable (DataFlow, Composer, BigQuery, PubSub)
• Knowledge with IaaS using Terraform as well as CI / CD using Github Actions or other deployment methods
• Knowledge with standard tools like Maven or Git, as well as shell scripts
• Good communication skills in German and English
