We are looking for you as R&D Program Manager (m / f / d) for our location in Braunschweig.

• Manage complex ADAS : Oversee the development and integration of advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) and drive the engineering teams and suppliers to deliver innovative and reliable solutions.
• Manage program development according to ASPICE L2 / L3 methodology : Ensure compliance with industry standards, process maturity, and continuous improvement in hardware, software and system development practices.
• Manage program changes : Implement effective and lean change management processes to evaluate, approve and communicate changes to the program scope, schedule or budget.
• Steer program and escalation : Take ownership of the development in the whole program, make decisions and escalate issues to the Director level when necessary.
• Steer the achievement of Development Milestones and KPIs : Monitor and manage multiple development projects within the program and track development progress against key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure successful delivery.
• Resolve technical issues of projects : Proactively identify and resolve potential roadblocks, conflicts or resource constraints that may impact project timelines or outcomes.
• Steer customer technical communication and manage relationships : Establish and maintain strong communication channels with customers, gain the customer trust on technical level, and ensure their needs and expectations are met throughout the program lifecycle.
• Ensure technical program scope and delivery : Define and maintain the technical scope and ensure that all deliverables are met within the agreed-upon requirements, timeframe and budget.
• Facilitate decision-making and team readiness : Guide and support the team in making informed decisions, provide necessary resources and foster a collaborative environment.
• Lead and develop team members : Provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance to development team members, foster a culture of continuous learning and development.
• Experience of 10+ years in technical project / program management, ideally in a fast-paced, complex business environment
• Solid knowledge of ADAS system and track record in the development of ADAS solutions
• Proven ability to lead large-scale, cross-functional development programs and deliver results
• Management of a program team with more than 200 employees (functional link)
• Strong leadership, negotiation and problem-solving skills with a results-driven mindset and enhanced capability of ticket steering of the full program
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Stakeholder management up to OEM department lead level
