We are looking for a proactive Retail Operations Specialist (m / f / d) who will be reporting directly to the Retail Area Manager, the ideal candidate will play a key role in maintaining store inventory, improving operational efficiencies, and supporting the overall success of the retail business.

Key activities and responsibilities

  • Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels by conducting regular stock checks and coordinating with the buying team to replenish merchandise as needed, ensuring availability and reducing instances of stockouts or overstocking.
  • Strategically monitor and optimize stock levels to ensure accurate availability across all locations, minimizing risks of stockouts or overstocking.
  • Enforce strict security and loss prevention protocols to minimize shrinkage and safeguard merchandise, staff, and customers
  • Prepare and analyse key performance indicators to provide actionable insights to the Retail Area Manager.
  • Work with the Retail Area Manager to identify operational efficiencies and provide feedback on potential improvements.
  • Participate in vendor management, to ensure the cleaning / security / stationary vendors offer consistent high standard service and meet the business needs.
  • Manage the store supplies and regular base replenishment, including uniform, package, etc.
  • Assist in training the staff on stock operations, inventory procedures, and store processes.

Key qualifications

  • 2-3 years of experience in retail operations or inventory management.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Business knowledge of German and English is mandatory. Italian is an advantage.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently.
  • Proficiency in inventory management systems and familiarity with SAP.
  • Knowledge of loss prevention practices and stockroom organization best practices.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • High willingness to travel
