Salary : up to €85,000

About the Role :

Stott and May are thrilled to be partnering with a market leader in Security as a Service for IT infrastructure. Their innovative solutions, including a Network Operations Center, CDN, reverse proxy, WAF, and DDoS protection, are integral to their daily operations and the success of their customers.

We are on the lookout for a talented Linux System Administrator to play a pivotal role in maintaining and optimizing cutting-edge server infrastructures. In this position, you'll contribute to top-tier customer service, ensuring smooth operations and safeguarding infrastructure against threats.

Your Responsibilities :

  • Collaborate with the team to maintain and optimize server infrastructure.
  • Set up monitoring systems to ensure the correct behavior of managed systems.
  • Participate in a rotating on-call shift (with additional remuneration).
  • Take responsibility for the seamless operation of the infrastructure, troubleshooting issues as they arise.
  • Actively protect against and mitigate cyberattacks on company and customer systems.
  • Document work processes and maintain updated records of infrastructure developments.

Your Profile :

  • Solid experience with :
  • Linux System Administration (Debian).
  • Expertise with CDN and Lua
  • Git, Bash, Python, and standard Linux tools.
  • Monitoring systems (Icinga, Prometheus, Elasticsearch, Grafana).
  • Layer 3, 4, and 7 protocols (IPv4, IPv6, TCP, UDP, ICMP, DNS, HTTP(s)).
  • Web servers and HTTP proxy systems.
  • Preferred additional knowledge of :
  • Networks (IPv4, IPv6, routing, firewall).
  • Tools like tcpdump, XDP, eBPF, and sFlow for network analysis.
  • Juniper JunOS.
