Your Mission :

Ensuring an effective sales management as well an efficient coordination of all sales related business processes, reporting and information flows relevant for the German sales team to meet the needs and demands of daily business and account management. In this role you will lead and direct back-office workflows linked to inter-departmental collaboration between sales and Customer Service, Marketing, Logistics, Finance and provides operational support. As a member of the Sales Leadership Team, you will work closely with the KAM and Field Sales Teams and report directly to the Sales Director Germany.

In this exciting role you will :

  • monitor channel specific sales strategies and help to implement commercial plans.
  • conduct and structure sales analysis, customer, and channel related data.
  • manage trade terms & customer contracts as well as budgets
  • lead on sales development projects and develop tools that lead to higher efficiency.
  • prepare business & customer performance reviews.
  • act as an enabler for commercial excellence and digital sales processes.

Your Responsibilities :

  • Support the development and implementation of commercial plans by running analytics, preparing sales reports, statistics and presentations.
  • Prepare input for budget planning meetings, manage allocations, track orders against forecast and monitor performance on goals.
  • Develop sales-relevant tools that enables sales teams to deliver quantitative and qualitative business targets more effectively.
  • Prepare business review meetings on national and international level based on facts and market insights
  • Develop a strong understanding of the German retail landscape to deliver best support for preparing the annual customer negotiations
  • Conduct analysis and develop overviews on sales and profits by channel and customer, track and monitor activities and promotional development.
  • Ensure constant information flow towards sales teams and operational interfaces.
  • Actively use given business intelligence systems like SAP, Salesforce, Drotax, Nielsen to provide detailed sales statistics
  • Use sales force automation tools to support direction setting and monitor distribution and listing targets as well as activation plans
  • Analyze and monitor systematically trade terms & conditions and ensure that all negotiated investments are implemented in the system and at retailers
  • Define sales budgets and manage the implementation to ensure that investments meet set targets.
  • Use administration tools to guarantee efficient cost, budget and contract management according to payment flow
  • Profile

    Education :

  • Master’s Degree in Commercial or Business Administration, Controlling
  • Professional experience & know how :

  • 2 yrs of Professional Experiences in the areas of sales, distribution and / or controlling, ideally with brand companies in the FMCG environment
  • Strong experiences in analyzing and evaluating data and enhancing reports
  • Excellent proficiency in Excel and other simulation tools
  • Good communication and presentation skills (oral and written)
  • Languages

  • Fluency in German and English, French is a plus
  • Other skills

  • Ability to analyze, compare and interpret facts quickly
  • Good understanding of Trade Terms and Retailer Financials
  • Supports decision making, with excellent results orientation and pragmatism
  • Strong business acumen and strategic thinking
  • Pro-active and solution orientation approach
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills, ability to communicate at all levels and also train / educate teams on new concepts
