To strengthen our Technology function within Kelvion, we are looking for a :

Head of Tube Research (m / f / d)

We're seeking an experienced leader to join one of our global sites to drive our Technology function and help shape the future of the heat exchanger industry. Our promise : we'll give you comprehensive training for the right start into your job and support you every step of the way in our company.

What you will be responsible for :

  • Lead R&D initiatives to develop advanced tube designs and materials for heat exchanger applications
  • Coordinate and mentor research team across several locations
  • Establish design research process including review and decision gates
  • Enhance thermodynamic simulation and calculation competence, provide expertise to other functions
  • Survey and assess technical trends and new technologies
  • Ensure compliance with ESG, QM requirements and general industry standards

About you :

  • Master’s degree in mechanical engineering, physics, materials science, thermal engineering, or a related field
  • Proven track record in leading R&D projects focused on heat transfer, tube design, or material innovation
  • Fluent English language skills
  • Experience in cross-functional collaboration with design, production, and marketing teams
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to align research initiatives with broader business goals and market needs
  • A forward-thinking mindset to anticipate industry trends and customer demands
  • Readiness for travel
