European Recruitment are working closely with an leading tech company, based in Nuremberg, who are looking for a Senior Data Scientist to join their team.
Responsibilities as Senior Data Scientist :
- Collect, process, & perform advanced statistical analysis on large datasets from energy storage systems to identify trends, patterns, & insights.
- Develop & implement sophisticated machine learning algorithms to forecast energy demands, optimize charging / discharging cycles, & enhance overall system efficiency.
- Create predictive models for component lifespan, maintenance needs, & failure prediction to minimize downtime & maximize the longevity of energy storage components.
- Monitor system performance & provide actionable recommendations for optimizations, based on data-driven insights.
Requirements :
- Master's or PhD in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or a related field.
- Proven experience in a data science role.
- Experience in energy systems is highly advantageous.
- Proven experience working with large datasets & familiar with data mining, cleaning, & munging techniques.
- High proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or Scala.
- Proven experience in Machine Learning Tools such as Scikit-Learn, TensorFlow / PyTorch, Pandas.
- Strong understanding of database & data warehousing (SQL & NoSQL), & big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark).
- Fluent in written & spoken English (working language).
