Inhouse Legal Counsel (mfx)

Your Role

• Support the team across a broad range of legal topics especially financing international private law general contract law corporate law capital market law commercial law banking supervision law labor law and data protection law
• Deal with regulatory and compliance-related topics (e.g. WpIG KWG GWG ZAG MaRisk & MaComp and KI-VO)
• Prepare assessments memos and statements on various legal topics
• Develop negotiate and manage contractual relationships with corporate clients international banks financial institutions and service providers
• Support the team in the creation maintenance and further development of various contracts and processes incl. the use of AI tools
• Collaborate closely and cross-functionally with the Capital Markets Sales Operations Finance & Risk and IT departments
• Independently manage various processes and projects

Your Profile

• Completed degree in business law with a focus on finance or fully qualified lawyer
• First relevant practical experience (in finance and/or corporate law) is an advantage young professionals are welcome
• Strong interest in corporate finance capital markets economic contexts and interdisciplinary topics
• High intrinsic motivation eagerness to learn and hands-on mentality
• Independent working style passion for the job and a high sense of responsibility
• Open communicative manner quick comprehension and the ability to work in a team
• Fluency in German and English both written and spoken; other languages are a plus
• Very good MS Office skills and initial experience with legal AI tools is an advantage
