This redress mechanism enhances Amazon’s ability toappropriately protect sellers’ interests andexpression.
Our dedicated EU Mediation team ensures thatwe hear and address selling partner pain points.The EU Mediationteam is looking for a Risk Manager to manage critical and highimpact disputes.
The ideal candidate shouldbe passionate about helping us ensure that customers may make greatpurchase decisions and that brand owners and sellers using Amazonare successfully listing and selling their products.
Your decisionsare not only fundamental to helping protect customers and sellers,but will help maintain the health of the Amazon catalogue andproduct listings ecosystem.
The idealcandidate :
- Uses high-level judgement and criticalthinking to deep dive and re-examine complex and ambiguousdisputes.
- Shows strong communication and interpersonalskills to work with, and influence multiple internalstakeholders.
- Is a fluent or native English speakerwith excellent oral and writing skills
- Is comfortableanalyzing and using data to make decisions
- Has a proventrack record setting program strategy to deliverresults.
Keyjob responsibilities
- Investigates, manages andresolves high-impact and complex around intellectual property (e.g.counterfeit, trademark, copyright) issues and violations ofAmazon's policies.
- Uses high-level judgement andcritical thinking to deep dive and re-examine complex and ambiguousenforcement actions.
- Collaborates, supports, andinfluences partner teams in responding to, investigating, managingand resolving high-impact incidents.
- Writes Legal (inEnglish) responses to present Amazon's view on disputes to anexternal and independent mediator.
- Analyzes existingpolicy and process gaps, and develops solutions to close them incollaboration with program teams.
- Owns and managesprojects designed to improve operational and process efficiency,and helps to scale the EU Mediation program further.
This includesaccessing and analyzing data and working extensively with teamsacross the organization.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor'sdegree or equivalent
- Experience in compliance programmanagement, legal, governance, audit, risk / loss prevention, orequivalent
- Experience handling confidentialinformation
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Professional auditing qualification, or similar risk or compliancecredentials
- Experience in program requirementsdefinition, together with data and metrics leveraging to driveimprovements
- Business proficiency in at least one otherEuropean language.
