Solution Architect
Responsibilities
Provide primary technical pre &post-sales support to Vertical Business Development team, sales teams regionally and ensure close cooperation with Application Sales Engineers and Product Managers.
- Develop BMS solutions, leveraging your extensive expertise in Honeywell Building Automation product offers (Fire & Security) and new technologies.
- Support sales teams and Honeywell partners across Europe in sales / technical advice on BMS solutions - Field Device, Controllers, Software and Service offers.
- Organize workshops, webinars and facilitate presentations with internal customers and key end users, consultants, and contractors.
- Define innovation and differentiation in customer solutions to address customers business needs.
- Be involved in technical reviews, evaluate risks and be advisor for BMS solutions in line with global guidelines.
- Be involved in engineering efficiency tools including specification documents, how to videos, white papers, and application notes.
- Provide guidance and expertise in project delivery best practices.
Key Requirements :
BMS (Building Management Systems) expertise is a must.
Ambitious, self-motivated, hardworking, results-oriented and a problem solver; Autonomous, mature, credible, highly professional, and comfortable in dealing with individuals at very senior levels.
A natural forward planner who critically assesses their own performance.
Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Computer Science or a technology-related discipline, or 6-10 year’s professional experience, including 3-5 years in customer-related sales support activities among which analyzing customer business needs.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
Strong pre-sales management skills including thorough knowledge of the sales process.
Technical skills should include BMS applications knowledge, technical implementation understanding.
Strong presentation and project management skills.
Competent author of technical white papers and how-to guide.
Knowledge of Niagara systems an advantage
