ROLE
TASKSANDRESPONSIBILITIES
- Guidingand supporting the Project Managers with regard to projects both inBelgium and abroad.
- As the final responsibleand in leading the Project Managers :
Monitoringthe technical quality and construction costs of the projects fromthe design phase to delivery. Optimizing the price / quality ratio ofthe projects;
Organizing and leading theselection of contractors / executors, seeking the best and mostqualitative solutions, preparing and concluding constructioncontracts, following up on the execution phase, including ensuringcompliance with BVI.EU’s specific requirements, such ascleanliness, communication, andsustainability;Continuously monitoring budget,timing, safety, and quality during the execution phase andperiodically reporting on these;Seeking andimplementing optimizations and standardizations; monitoring productand market developments (innovative construction techniques,etc.);Maintaining oversight of the executionorganization and monitoringstaffing;Developing aninternational tendering process;Developingsystems for modular and timberconstruction;Monitoring IT systems that can beintegrated into our projects (e.g., data cabling, energymonitoring, etc.);Establishing and monitoringthe products and processes within the technical department, andintegrating the activities of the technical department intoBVI.EU’s overall business process;Setting up,implementing, monitoring, and optimizing technical standards (e.g.,standardizing processes, specifications, etc.), work procedures,and best practices;Identifying andimplementing innovative and sustainable technologies such asrenewable energy, maintenance, etc.;Defining aclear standardization of sustainable aspects such as landscaping,water management, biodiversity,etc.;Participating in final contractnegotiations with all contractors and subcontractors to obtain thebest and most qualitative offers for the realization of real estateprojects;Following up on budgets and timelinesof projects indevelopment / execution;Responsible for theimplementation of special techniques and managing a knowledgecenter;Responsible for monitoring correctperiodic reporting during the execution phase to themanagement.YOURPROFILE
A civil orindustrial engineer in construction / architecture with a minimum of10 years of work experience, either as a project manager in theexecution of construction projects, experience in management, orequivalent.A “Passion forconstruction.”Service and customer-oriented,solution-driven.High standards of ethics andloyalty.Excellent command of Dutch, French,and English.WE OFFERYOU
