Delivery Manager/Project Manager - SAP Finance DACH

Therefore, we are looking for a proficient Finance Delivery Manager to oversee and orchestrate projects from start to end, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality.

But your role does not end here, you will be an essential key person in fostering collaboration, managing risks, and optimizing resources to maximize project success.

Tasks

As a Delivery Manager, you will lead the project from start to completion. This involves defining project scope and goals in alignment with stakeholders, crafting detailed plans and timelines for clarity and efficiency.

You serve as the primary point of contact for clients and internal teams, ensuring transparent communication and delivering concise reports, while managing risks by identifying potential issues and developing mitigation strategies to safeguard project timelines.

Budget and resource management are critical, as you will oversee costs and optimize resource allocation to maximize productivity.

By implementing quality assurance processes you will ensure that all deliverables are met at the highest standards consistently.

Throughout the project execution, you monitor progress closely, manage changes effectively, and conduct thorough post-project evaluations to drive continuous improvement.

Furthermore you will collaborator closely with sales and business development teams to ensure a seamless project handover and support pre-sales activities with technical expertise.

Requirements

Project Management Expertise :

• Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).
• Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira and Confluence).

Technical Proficiency :

• Expertise in SAP, specifically the S / 4 Hana environment.
• Familiarity with relevant industry tools and technologies.

Communication and Interpersonal Skills :

• Excellent verbal and written German communication skills.
• Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members.

Problem-Solving and Decision-Making :

• Strong analytical skills to identify issues and develop effective solutions.
• Ability to make informed decisions under pressure.
• Proficiency in identifying and managing project risks and the ability to develop and implement risk mitigation strategies.

Time Management and Organizational Skills :

• Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.

Budget and Financial Management :

• Experience in managing project budgets and financials.
• Understanding of cost control and financial forecasting.

Adaptability and Flexibility :

• Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and environments.
