You will join a team of 4 and be responsible for providing accurate and timely accounting information and support in compliance with company, government, statutory, and policies of Safran Helicopter Engines Germany GmbH.
Your key responsibilities will include :
Assisting in the preparation of annual financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with current standards and regulationsIndependent supervision of the accounts payable and travel cost functionOffering guidance to operational staff on tax-related mattersSupporting tax compliance efforts and ensuring timely tax filingsIdentifying potential tax risks within your area of responsibilityStaying informed about tax-related developments and contributing to newsletters and tax-focused events.Complementary Description
Your main activities will involve :
Accounting and Financial Reporting
Establish, maintain, analyze, and validate the company's legal and fiscal accounting results in accordance with local standards, regulations, and group instructionsProvide thorough documentation and justification for accounts (closing and permanent files)Ensure compliance of accounts with local standards and regulationsGenerate consolidation filesTaxation
Manage mandatory tax filings (VAT, corporate income tax, etc.) and transmit required fiscal consolidation data to the groupEnsure timely and accurate submission of tax returns in line with applicable standardsAnalyze contracts for tax implicationsParticipate in the research tax credit processProactively monitor and stay informed about tax-related developmentsAssist with transfer pricing documentationIdentify tax risks across your entire scope of responsibilityAuditing
Support the "Subsidiary Taxation" and / or "Group Taxation" internal control cycleManage relationships with independent auditors and tax inspectorsJob Requirements
What you bring with you :
Completed apprenticeship as an Accountant or Assistant Tax ConsultantMinimum 3 years of experience in Accounting (P&L, General Ledger, Balance Sheet)Strong financial knowledgeKnowledge of German taxation, particularly VAT, CIT, and Commercial Tax (preferred)Familiarity with ERP systems, preferably SAPIntermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office suiteAbility to thrive in a matrix organizationExcellent communication skills and assertivenessFluency in both spoken and written English and GermanYou want to become part of our team?
