Job Description

ThePrincipal Technical Consultant for TechnologyWorkflows is responsible for guiding clients throughthe implementation of ServiceNow’s OperationalTechnology products. This role focuses on deliveringbest-practice-based solutions that drive business outcomes andenhance operational efficiency. The successful candidate willpossess deep expertise in Operational Technology / Manufacturing,coupled with a strong understanding of Operational Technologyworkflows, to solve complex client challenges and advocate forcustomer needs withinServiceNow.

KeyResponsibilities

ProjectDelivery

  • Act as the primary technicalliaison for projects, representing the development team tocustomers and ensuring the highest quality of deliveredsolutions.
  • Oversee technical delivery, ensuringalignment with client requirements and ServiceNow best practicesfor OT implementations.
  • Define and architecttechnical solutions at a detailed level, ensuring they align withclients' business needs and technologicalenvironments.
  • Lead technical onboarding withclients, assessing existing processes and platform configurationsto tailor solutions effectively.
  • Performhands-on development on the ServiceNow platform leveraging allServiceNow technologies and capabilities; Flow Designer, REST,JavaScript, HTML, CSS, SSO, Mid-servers, andmore.
  • Serve as an escalation point fortechnical issues, implementing efficiencies and driving resolutionof critical path challenges.
  • Mentor and guidedevelopers and consultants on best practices in technical designand OT workflows.

Pre-SalesSupport

  • Partner with the pre-salesteam to scope complex service engagements involving ServiceNowproducts and intricate integrations with client systems, with afocus on Operational Technology.
  • Demonstratethought leadership by contributing to webinars, white papers, andcommunity groups, highlighting expertise in Operational TechnologyManagement.
  • ProductCollaboration

  • Engage with ServiceNowproduct teams to provide feedback and insights on new features,capabilities, and best practices.
  • Participatein go-to-market strategies for new service offerings, ensuringalignment with Operational Technology trends and customerneeds.
  • Qualifications

    Experience : Several years experience in consulting, configuration, andimplementation of complex technologies, with at least 2 yearsfocused on enterprise architecture and technicalroadmaps.

    Operational TechnologyManagement Expertise : Proven track record indesigning and implementing OT solutions, with a solid understandingof industry-specific workflows, use cases, compliance requirements,and bestpractices.

    Domains : Operational Technology Management, OT Service Management, OTVisibility, OT Vulnerability Response, OT Security, Manufacturing4.0.

    LeadershipSkills : Ability to influence senior leaders andstakeholders, providing clear recommendations that address businessand technical challenges in OTcontexts.

    TechnicalSkills : Proficiency in creating architecturaldesigns, solution presentations, and integration strategies,particularly within OT environments. Experience with WebTechnologies (XML, HTML, JavaScript, Web Services, Bootstrap, CSS,middleware, LDAP, SSO, etc.) and working with SaaStechnologies.

    Certifications : Must hold or be able to achieve within the first 90 days ServiceNowcertifications for OT Implementation Specialist, and CertifiedTechnical Architect within the firstyear.

    Language : Fluent in both German and English.
