Head of the SOEP Innovation Sample (f/m/div)
Your responsibilities : · Management and surveymanagement of the innovation study of the Socio-Economic Panel(SOEP-IS) · Coordination and planning of the entire datacollection, data preparation and data distribution process of theSOEP-IS study · Coordination and planning of all process steps ofthe data life cycle with the survey institute · Supervision of asmall team of non-scientific staff and student assistants ·Coordinating, guiding and significantly taking over the applicationand selection process of external survey modules for the SOEP-ISstudy;
this also includes communication with researchers applyingfor external modules for the SOEP-IS study · Own research with afocus on survey research and the analysis of panel data in thecontext of innovative and experimental social science research Yourqualifications : · Completed doctoral degree with honors in thesocial sciences, economics, psychology or a related field ·Relevant scientific expertise in the field of survey methodologicalresearch and practice, particularly in dealing with interviewers insurveys and survey-methodological experiments · Comprehensiveexperience in the conception and implementation of surveys invarious modes (CAPI / CAWI / CALVI / CASI) · very good knowledge ofvarious questionnaire pretest procedures · Very good knowledge ofquantitative survey and evaluation methods · Experience in workingwith data from the SOEP or its Related Studies · Independent,responsible, and dedicated work approach · Excellent proficiency inEnglish, both written and spoken · Excellent organizational andcoordination skills · German language skills at level B2 aredesirable What we offer : A job at a research institute with around300 colleagues, where diversity, equal opportunities, and a healthywork-life balance guide all areas of work.

Thisis a fixed-term position limited to 31st July 2027. A transition topermanent employment is being pursued. Remuneration is paidaccording to TVöD Bund, salary group E14.
