The SupplierQuality Engineer II for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsiblefor supplier management, the delivery of quality products anddeveloping supplier capability for futureneeds.

This position is partof the Quality department located in Munich, Baierbrunn and will be on-site. AtBeckman Coulter, our vision is to relentlessly reimaginehealthcare, one diagnosis at atime.

You will be a part ofthe Supplier Quality Team and report to the Supplier Quality Manager . If you thrive in an exciting role offering amazing opportunities andwant to work to build a world-class Procurement organization—readon.

In this role, youwill have the opportunityto :

  • Developsupplier management plans to improve supplier and productperformance
  • Perform supplieraudits & materialqualifications
  • Developsupplier material control plans and incoming material inspectionplans
  • Dispositionnonconforming material and develop plans to preventreoccurrence
  • Participate ordrive root cause and corrective action analysis regarding suppliercaused manufacturing issues
  • Visit suppliers to resolveproduct performanceconcerns.

Theessential requirements of the jobinclude :

  • Bachelor’sdegree in engineering or science field with 2+ years’ experience;or Master’s degree in field with 0-2 years’experience
  • Ability to readand understand specifications on engineeringdrawings
  • Investigationskills to determine root cause(s) ofissues
  • Technical writingskills to document investigationresults
  • Excellentcommunication skills
  • TravelRequirements :

    Ability totravel – up to 25% travel, overnight, mostly within Germany &Europe

    Itwould be a plus if you also possess previous experiencein :

  • Medical Deviceor other regulatedIndustry
  • Thisrole is a temporary employment limited to 18months.
