Logistics Specialist (f/m/d) in Berlin

Your mission

This role is based at MakerVerse’s logistics hub in Berlin 12435!

As Logistics Specialist, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of logistics and the full shipping processes (picking, packing, shipping, etc.

ensuring that our products are delivered on time and in good condition, and developing and implementing processes to improve the efficiency of our logistics operations.

You will report directly to our Supply Chain Manager. The following tasks will be part of your new role :

• Monitor and manage our logistics processes, including customs clearance, inventory management and goods inspection.
• Booking and coordinating inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring efficient and timely transportation.
• Actively participating in the packaging process, ensuring products are securely packed for transit.
• Contacting and liaising with couriers to facilitate smooth pickups and deliveries.
• Taking charge of tracking inbound and outbound shipments to provide real-time updates.
• Preparation of shipping documents for customs clearance, ensuring compliance with import and export regulations.

Your profile

• 2+ years of experience in logistics and shipping departments.
• Direct experience in handling packed boxes and / or pallets.
• A hands-on, can-do attitude, coupled with a strong understanding of challenges inherent to packaging and shipping.
• Knowledge of customs processes, importing and exporting goods.
• Fluency in English and at least a B1 German
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• You are based in Berlin and willing to work 100% on-site
• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or any related field would be considered as a plus
