International financial trading company based in Cyprus seeks an IT Operations Analyst to join their Operations Team.
This is a position that is focused on the support of the external client-facing Trading Systems, and the internal Services, Payment System Integrations, Market Data Feeds, Web Services, and Databases that facilitate and manage their clients’ Trading Activities. Production Support experience at an FX, Securities, or online Casino business is ideal for this position, as is experience with Meta Trader’s MT4 or MT5 systems.

MAIN ACTIVITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Collaborating with PMs and Developers for both Release Management and Deployment
- Maintain and support both Virtual & Physical Machine environments
- Supporting Environments & Systems across the entire project lifecycle (Dev., Pre-prod., Production)
- Configure and maintain servers and processes, including the monitoring of system health and performance
- Provide Level 1 & 2 support for System Incidents, including participating in a weekly out-of-hours support rota
- Installation, Administration Troubleshooting and Maintenance of VMware ESXi (5.x, 6.x & 7.x)
- Patching Windows Servers via Automated tools such as WSUS
- Documenting the configuration of current infrastructure services and the support procedures of both new and legacy systems
MAIN REQUIREMENTS :
University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a similar disciplineMinimum of 3 years’ experience in a senior System Administrator role, as part of an ITSome weekend work and participation in an on-call support rota will be requiredPractical experience with the installation, administrating and troubleshooting of Microsoft Windows ServerKnowledge of VLANs, Subnetting, Routing and Switching, good understanding of OSIIT Security Knowledge and Experience, including Firewall administration and knowledge of IPS and WAFVMWare Administration experienceKnowledge of datacenter network infrastructure (from ISP through to end user)Clearly demonstrated knowledge and experience of managing Windows Server operating systems, Virtualization technology and SAN solutionsExperience or knowledge of Load Balancing, and ideally of DNS and Content Delivery NetworksExperience using industry-standard monitoring tools such as Zabbix or NagiosGood time-management and task-prioritization skillsThe ability to prioritize Incidents and Risks by determining their impact on the Production environmentSubstantial technical troubleshooting and problem-solving backgroundWork effectively independently and as part of a team. Good team playerBENEFICIAL EXPERIENCE :
